about Jeffery

Although Jeffery has worked around the country and the world, he grew up amid the pine trees and tobacco fields of eastern North Carolina. He began his life in photography in the United States Navy. After four years of service, he returned to his roots, working for several publications in central North Carolina. A mentor persuaded him to leave home again, and he journeyed to Bowling Green, Kentucky where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in photojournalism from Western Kentucky University. After leaving school, a chance encounter along a stretch of isolated highway and a trek across the country led him and his wife, Christina, to a lifetime of love and family. Both events, though separate, happened within months of each other, and Jeffery landed in Columbia, South Carolina where he first met Christina. The two left the newspaper field to pursue a family and personal projects. Together, Jeffery and Christina have four children, Jackson, Lauren, Colin, and Dylan. In addition to photography, Jeffery enjoys travel, music, art and film, and cooking and photographing food. Jeffery is an award-winning former photojournalist, and his work has been published in numerous publications across the country. He has more than a quarter century of experience in the field and is one of the most versatile photographers working today. He is capable of handling a variety of assignments from the most demanding clients. Jeffery is available for work worldwide.
